Kinder Village is a Tucson community supporting non-speaking and minimally-speaking autistic individuals, helping every person find their voice and share their gifts with the world.
The Vision
A 108-Acre Village Is Taking Root
We’re building toward a Southern Arizona property where learning, farming, movement, housing, and work all grow together, and we’ve already begun with a working micro-site in Central Tucson.
- A K-12 school built on presumed competence
- An organic regenerative farm and general store
- Adaptive athletics, yoga, music, and mindful movement
- Sustainable long-term housing for autistic adults and caregivers
Welcome
We presume competence. Everything else grows from there.
Every person has something to say, and the means to say it can be found: a letterboard, a keyboard, an AAC device, or whatever suits them best along the way. We walk alongside non-speakers and their families on that journey, and we’re teaching the greater Tucson community to walk with us.
