Kinder Village is a Tucson community supporting non-speaking and minimally-speaking autistic individuals, helping every person find their voice and share their gifts with the world.
We’re building toward a Southern Arizona property where learning, farming, movement, housing, and work all grow together, and we’ve already begun with a working micro-site in Central Tucson.
A K-12 school built on presumed competence
An organic regenerative farm and general store
Adaptive athletics, yoga, music, and mindful movement
Sustainable long-term housing for autistic adults and caregivers
We presume competence. Everything else grows from there.
Every person has something to say, and the means to say it can be found: a letterboard, a keyboard, an AAC device, or whatever suits them best along the way. We walk alongside non-speakers and their families on that journey, and we’re teaching the greater Tucson community to walk with us.
We help non-speakers discover their authentic means of communication and support families through every stage of the journey.
Bringing People Together
Adaptive programs unite neuro-divergent and neuro-typical individuals through movement, music, sports, and shared work, so both learn from each other’s strengths.
Building Pathways to Work
We’re clearing a path toward meaningful employment for autistic adults, supporting both the individual and the businesses that hire them.
"It is our mission to assist every non-speaker in finding their authentic voice."
